My name is Siri and I am 49 years old. I am married to Bård, who is 50. We have two lovely boys, Herman 10 and Brage 9.

This blog is mostly about sailing – and me. Two things that don’t go together very well. My husband loves sailing and he bought a sailing boat just before we got married in 2005. I was not happy with that, as I am scared at sea and I prefer spending my holidays in warm weather. Spain is my dream country.

Well, to try to cope with this fear of mine, I am attending a sailing course for girls in May 2012. I will blog about my thoughts around this course and my way – maybe – to enjoy sailing. Who knows. What I do not enjoy, is beeing cold! And with the weather here in the Stavanger area, there aren’t many days with lovely sailing weather if you dont want to freeze…

The whole family has been out in the boat 4-5 times, but only by motor. So who knows, will we sail at all this summer?
